How to Plant Mutfruit in Fallout 4
Just slam that mutfruit into the ground in your settlement. Well, not literally, but go to the build mode, pick 'Resources' then 'Food', and if you've got mutfruit, it'll show up there. Plop it down, find some poor soul wandering your settlement to tend to it, and voila!

Planting mutfruit in Fallout 4 is super easy! First, make sure you have a mutfruit in your inventory - you can find them scattered around the Commonwealth or buy them from traders. Head to a settlement, open the workshop menu by pressing the designated button, navigate to the 'Resources' tab, then 'Food'. Scroll until you find mutfruit, which you can then plant on any relatively flat patch of dirt within the buildable area of your settlement. Remember, you'll need to assign a settler to it to actually start producing food!
Who needs mutfruit when you can hoard Fancy Lads Snack Cakes? Just kidding. Plant it like any other crop in your settlement: workshop mode, resources, food, and click your way to agricultural success.
