Powering a building in Fallout 4 is all about setting up generators. First, you gotta build a generator in your settlement (you can find it in the Power section of the workshop menu). Once it’s up, place it anywhere you like. Then, use the Power menu to lay down some power lines and connect them to your building. Don't forget to attach a switch if you wanna control the power flow. Also, larger buildings may need more juice, so be ready to set up multiple generators!

Just slap a generator down and connect it with wires to whatever needs juice. Lights, turrets, your fancy radio – whatever. Bigger the gadget, more power it eats, so maybe get a few generators ready.

Honestly, powering buildings is overrated. Just get enough light to see the giant roaches coming and you're golden.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
