How to Put Legendary Effects on Weapons in Fallout 4
Unfortunately, you can't just slap a legendary effect on a weapon in vanilla Fallout 4. Legendary weapons and armor come from defeating legendary enemies, and you can't modify an item to make it legendary through regular crafting. However, if you're not opposed to using mods, there are several available that allow you to add legendary effects to existing weapons or even craft legendary items from scratch. Always backup your save before experimenting with mods, though!
