Saving in Survival Mode in Fallout 4 is a bit tricky since you can't save anytime you want like in other game modes. You have to find a bed and sleep for at least an hour to save your game. So, keep an eye out for those mattresses and sleeping bags scattered across the Commonwealth. Also, sickness can prevent saving, so stay healthy!

Honestly, just find a bed. It's the only way to save in Survival Mode. I've lost hours of gameplay by forgetting to sleep/save, so take it from me, don't skip those naps.

No quicksave or autosave here. You gotta sleep to save in Survival mode. Adds to the challenge, makes every decision count.
