How to Spawn Items in Fallout 4
Spawning items in Fallout 4 is kinda like magic, but instead of a wand, you use console commands. Just hit the tilde (~) key to open the console, then type 'player.additem [item ID] [quantity]'. For example, if you wanna shower yourself in bottle caps (because who doesn't want to be rich in the apocalypse?), you'd type 'player.additem 0000000f [number of caps you want]'. Honestly, just play the game without cheats. Spawning items can totally ruin the fun and challenge. Plus, you'll miss out on the sheer joy of finding a rare item after a tough battle or in a hidden stash.
I spawn stuff all the time because why not? Needed 1000 stimpacks because I'm terrible at avoiding traps, and it was as easy as typing 'player.additem 00023736 1000'. 10/10 would recommend if you just wanna have a laugh or build the most epic base with all the materials you could ever want.
