Starting Automatron in Fallout 4 is pretty straightforward! First, make sure you’re at least level 15. Then, just wait for the in-game radio signal named 'Caravan Distress Call' to pop up. Listen to it, and the quest 'Mechanical Menace' will start automatically, leading you into the Automatron storyline. Happy robot hunting!

You gotta be level 15, then the radio will do the trick. Tune into the 'Caravan Distress Call' and boom, quest starts.
