To kick off the Nuclear Option quest in Fallout 4, you'll need to dig deep into the main story. First, make sure you're cozy with the Minutemen. You'll have to complete a series of quests for them, starting from when you first meet Preston Garvey in Concord. Work your way through the main storyline until you've rescued Nick Valentine and uncovered the identity of the Institute's leader. Once the Institute is fully against you, and you've completed the quests 'Form Ranks' and 'Defend the Castle,' Sturges will give you the 'Nuclear Option' quest. Basically, be a hero, save the day a few times, and then it's boom time!

Short version? Be buds with the Minutemen, make the Institute mad, do 'Defend the Castle,' and then Sturges will hook you up with the quest.

You gotta complete a buncha quests for the Minutemen and make the Institute your enemy. After you do 'Defend the Castle,' talk to Sturges. He'll set you on the path to 'Nuclear Option.'

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
