For real spooks, you gotta mod it till you make it! There are tons of mods that can transform Fallout 4 into a horror masterpiece. Try out 'Pilgrim - Dread the Commonwealth' for that eerie atmosphere, or 'Whispering Hills' to add Silent Hill vibes with fog and creepy creatures. Darkness mods are a must to keep you squinting at every shadow. Don't forget to crank up the difficulty to make every encounter a potential heart attack.

Honestly, just listen to the in-game radio. Nothing makes walking through the Commonwealth at night more terrifying than doing it to the tune of 'Butcher Pete.'

Don't need mods to make it scary, just play it at 2am with all the lights off and the game sounds cranked. Trust me, when a Feral Ghoul jumps out of nowhere, you'll jump out of your skin.

Mods? Nah. Hardcore mode, no lights, and surround sound. If your heart ain't racing when you hear a Deathclaw, you're doing it wrong.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
