To use a water pump in Fallout 4, you first need to build one in your settlement. Open the workshop menu, head to the 'Resources' section, then 'Water', and select the water pump. Place it on the ground where the icon turns green. Once built, just walk up to it and activate it with the action button (E on PC, X on PS4, A on Xbox One) to start pumping water. Boom! Hydration station is now open for business.

Just smack the action button when you're near the pump. Can't miss it. It's like hitting the big red button but for water.

I put a water pump right in the middle of my settlement. Makes life way easier, plus, gives that rustic apocalypse-chic look. Just interact with it like you would with any object you're curious about in the wasteland. Adventure's first rule: if you can press it, press it.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
