To wait in Fallout 4, just find yourself a nice chair or a cozy bed to sit or lie down in. Once you're sitting or lying down, the option to wait will pop up. Choose how many hours you want to fast-forward, and bam, time flies! Sadly, you can't just wait standing up like in some other games.

You can't wait by just standing around like in previous Fallout games. Find a chair or a bed, interact with it, and then you'll get the option to wait. It's a bit more immersive, makes you plan your waiting periods a bit more.

Hot take: The waiting mechanic in Fallout 4 is actually better than in previous games. Forces you to find a spot to rest, which makes total sense in a post-apocalyptic world. Can't be standing on your feet 24/7!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
