The Brotherhood of Steel makes their grand entrance in Fallout 4 when you complete the main quest 'Reunions' and then witness the Prydwen flying across the Commonwealth sky shortly after. It's pretty epic, and you definitely can't miss it!

TBH, I barely noticed them. Was too busy hoarding desk fans. But yeah, after 'Reunions' sounds right.

If you're waiting for the BoS to show up in style, just progress the story until after you've dealt with Kellogg in 'Reunions'. Boom, Prydwen in the sky, Brotherhood on the move. Can't miss it.
