The Chinese submarine in Fallout 4, known as the Yangtze, is lurking in the waters off the coast of the Commonwealth. It's a bit of a swim, but you'll find it east of the Boston Airport and directly north of the Castle. Once you get there, brace yourself for an interesting encounter with its sole survivor, Captain Zao.

Just dive east from the Airport or north from the Castle. Can't miss it, it's a huge sub sticking out of the water. Captain Zao's got some quests for you, so it's totally worth the swim.

Why bother with the sub? Just build the best settlement and forget the Yangtze exists. ?

Look, finding the Yangtze is cool and all, but the real treasure is the story and the gear you can snag from there. Make sure you take a moment to appreciate the quest line; Fallout 4's world is huge and full of these gems!
