You wanna add a moo-moo to your settlement, huh? Cool, cool. You can buy a Brahmin by finding a wandering trader named Kelly. She's usually hanging out somewhere east of the Drumlin Diner. Just walk up to her, chat, and you can buy a Brahmin for 100 caps. If you're feeling more DIY, you can also snag the 'Wasteland Workshop' DLC, which lets you build a Brahmin feed trough that attracts them naturally.
