Walking slow? Sounds like you've hit the game's encumbrance limit. Basically, you're carrying more than your character can handle. Offload some of that junk or invest perks in increasing your carry capacity. Also, make sure you're not in sneak mode without realizing it - that'll slow you down too.

You might be carrying too much loot! In Fallout 4, if you exceed your carrying capacity, your character will slow down to a crawl. Time to drop some of those desk fans or trade them in at the nearest vendor. Another thing, check if you accidentally toggled the walk function. Pressing the Caps Lock key on PC toggles walking and running, so give that a try!

Hot take: walking slow in Fallout 4 is the game's way of telling you to admire the scenery. But really, it's because you're overencumbered or you've toggled walking by mistake. Lighten your load or check your controls!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
