Why does Fallout 4 keep crashing?
Fallout 4 might be crashing due to a few reasons - it could be outdated mods clashing with each other or the game itself, your graphics settings might be too high for your rig, or there could be missing or corrupted game files. Try updating or disabling mods, adjusting your graphic settings down a bit, and verifying your game files through Steam. That usually fixes it!

Check your PC specs! Fallout 4 is a beast and if your setup isn't up to the task, it'll let you know by crashing. Make sure you meet the recommended requirements, not just the minimum.
Mods, mods, mods. They're great but they can be the number one reason for crashes. If you've recently added a new mod, that might be your culprit. Try removing mods one by one to see which one is causing the issue.
Just save often, folks. Fallout 4 crashes for me all the time but quicksaving has become second nature. Also, don't run it on ultra settings if your PC can't handle it.
Honestly, it's part of the charm. A crash here and there reminds you it's a Bethesda game.
