Why is my keyboard not working on Fallout 4?
Check if your keyboard is actually working outside of Fallout 4 first. Silly, but gotta start somewhere! If it's working fine elsewhere, try restarting your game or even your PC. Sometimes, Fallout 4 can get a bit finicky with inputs, especially if you've been modding the game or have a lot of background apps running. Also, dive into the game settings and make sure you haven't accidentally remapped your keyboard controls to something bizarre.

Make sure your drivers are up to date! Fallout 4 can have issues with outdated keyboard drivers. So, hit up your keyboard manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers. If that doesn't fix it, try running the game in windowed mode instead of full screen. Some players reported that solved their keyboard woes.
Mods. If you've got any, they might be the culprit. I had a mod once that turned my entire inventory into cats. Needless to say, my keyboard wasn鈥檛 a fan either. Try disabling mods and see if that helps!
