Are lands considered spells in MTG?
Actually, lands are the complete opposite of spells. They're your power source to cast those spells. No mana, no magic!

Lol, if lands were spells, we'd all be wizards by now just by playing them. But no, lands are not spells. They're the trusty sidekicks that help your actual spells do their magic.
Nope, lands aren't spells in Magic The Gathering. You can play a land per turn during your main phase without spending any mana. Spells, on the other hand, require you to tap lands (or other sources) for mana to cast them. So, dropping a land on the field is just part of your strategic setup, not a spell-slinging moment!
