Typically, a standard Magic The Gathering booster pack contains 15 cards. That usually includes 10 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 rare or mythic rare, and a basic land or a special card like a token or an advertisement card. But keep an eye on the set; some special releases might mix things up!

15 cards, no more, no less. That's what you get in a standard MTG booster. If anyone says otherwise, they're probably talking about a special or premium pack.

Just to add a bit of spice here, but who counts the cards anyway? It's all about the rare you pull!

15 cards usually, but remember Commander packs and others can differ. Always check the pack details.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
