Totally, MTG D20 dice are as balanced as any standard D20 you'd use for tabletop RPGs. Wizards of the Coast, the company behind MTG, knows their stuff when it comes to game pieces. They wouldn't package something that could skew the game one way or another. Plus, from personal experience, they roll just as random as any dice I've gotten at my local game shop.

Nope, they're just for show! Real talk, those MTG D20s are more about looking cool next to your deck than mathematical precision. I'd stick to a high-quality, third-party D20 for anything that needs serious balance.

Honestly, it depends on which D20 you get. Some of the older or promotional ones might not be as balanced as the newer, standard ones they pack in with fat packs or pre-release kits. If you're just using it to track life totals in MTG, it's fine. But if you're rolling for critical game decisions in D&D, maybe grab a precision die.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
