Are there any red or black counter spells in MTG?

Absolutely! While blue is the king of counter spells in MTG, red and black dabble in their own ways. Red has cards like 'Pyroblast' and 'Red Elemental Blast' which specifically target blue spells, acting as a counter. Black's approach is sneakier, with cards like 'Dash Hopes' and 'Withering Boon,' which offer a counter spell ability at a cost, usually paying life points or additional conditions.

Red and black counter spells? Not really their thing. You wanna counter, you go blue. End of story.

Yeah, black and red aren't really the go-to colors for counter spells, but they've got a few tricks. 'Imp's Mischief' from black can change the target of a spell. Not a direct counter, but it messes with the opponent's plans.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
