Actually, while you can't scan or directly transfer physical cards to MTG Online, keep an eye on special redemption programs. Wizards of the Coast have offered ways in the past for physical purchases to influence your digital game, but it's not a card-for-card thing.

Nah, you can't directly add physical Magic The Gathering cards to your MTG Online account. MTG Online and the physical game operate separately, so you'll need to obtain digital versions of the cards through MTG Online's store or trading system.
