Technically, you can't attack on your very first turn if you're the starting player in Magic The Gathering. The rules state that the player who goes first skips their draw step and also can't attack. This is to balance the advantage of going first. However, if you're not the first player, you can attack on your first turn given you have a creature that can attack right away (like those with haste).

Nope, if you're up first, no swinging! You gotta wait till turn 2 at least to start the beatdown.

Actually, you can if it's not your first game turn but your first turn in a multiplayer round, and you got a creature with haste or an effect that lets it attack. It's all about the timing and the cards you have.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
