Absolutely! Countering your own spell in MTG is totally a move you can make. It might seem like a bizarre strategy at first glance, but it's got its moments. For example, you might want to trigger certain abilities or maybe bait out an opponent's counter, only to cancel your own spell. It's all about the mind games and strategy!

Short answer: Yup, you can! Sometimes it's just the flex you need to outsmart your opponent.

I once countered my own spell just to mess with my friend's head. Worked like a charm because they wasted their counter spell on something else, thinking I had a bigger play in mind. It's all about the psychological warfare, folks.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
