Nope, you can't use Google Play money to buy stuff directly in MTG Arena. MTG Arena transactions are done through its own platform, so you'll need to use whatever payment methods they support.

Absolutely not, Google Play balance stays in Google's playground. MTG Arena has its own checkout line.

I tried this before hoping I could use my Google Play credits, but no luck. You have to stick to the payment options MTG Arena offers.
