Yes, you can respond to Bloodthirst triggers in Magic The Gathering. Bloodthirst is an ability that checks if an opponent was dealt damage this turn, and if so, the creature enters the battlefield with that many +1/+1 counters. It's a triggered ability, so when it goes on the stack, you can definitely respond to it with instants or activated abilities before the Bloodthirst creature gets its counters.

Absolutely! Bloodthirst triggers are fair game for responses. Crack open an instant spell or fire off an activated ability while that trigger's chilling on the stack. It's like saying 'Hold on, not so fast!' to your opponent's creature.

Yup, but why bother? Most of the time, you're better off saving your spells for bigger threats. Just let it resolve and deal with the creature later.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
