Can I respond to my own spell in MTG before my opponent?
Nope, it's a waste of time. Just let your spell do its thing.

Yeah, you can, and it's a legit strategy. I've won games by responding to my own spells. Sometimes, throwing an instant in the mix or activating an ability right after throwing down a spell can really mess with your opponent's head and strategy. It's all about timing and knowing your deck.
Absolutely, you can totally respond to your own spell in Magic The Gathering. It's all about the stack. When you cast a spell, it doesn't resolve immediately. It goes on the stack, giving both you and your opponent a chance to respond. If you have an instant or ability that you want to use after your spell but before your opponent gets a chance, you can do that. Just cast your spell, then cast your instant or activate your ability in response to your own spell. Your response will resolve first!
