Changeling in Magic The Gathering works a bit differently than choosing a creature type. Changeling is an ability some creatures have that means they are every creature type at all times, everywhere - even outside of the game. So, you don't choose a creature type for them; they automatically have all types!

Actually, asking if you can choose a creature type for a Changeling in MTG misses the point of what Changeling is. It's an ability that inherently means the creature is every type, all the time. So there's no need to choose.

Nope, you can't choose a creature type for Changeling because they're already every creature type. It's like having an all-access pass to every creature party in MTG!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
