Yes, you can foretell a card at instant speed in Magic The Gathering, but only during your turn. Foretell is a mechanic that lets you pay two generic mana to exile a card from your hand face down during your turn, and then you can cast it on a later turn for its foretell cost. Remember, the initial foretelling is limited to your own turn, but once it's foretold, you can cast it any time the card's timing allows, which can be instant speed for some spells!

Actually, foretelling is all about planning ahead, not about surprising your opponent mid-combat. Keep that in mind when you're building your strategy!

Nope, sorry, but you've gotta wait your turn for the foretelling part. Once that card is chilling in exile with foretell though, feel free to unleash it at instant speed if the card says so. Timing is everything!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
