Absolutely, you can get duplicates in MTG Arena. However, there's a clever system in place called the 'Duplicate Protection' for rares and mythic rares. Once you've collected a playset of a particular rare or mythic (4 copies), the game ensures you won't pull that card again from packs in the same set. Instead, you'll get a different rare or mythic from that set. But for common and uncommon cards, brace yourself for duplicates galore!

Short answer, yes, you can get duplicates. But don't worry about the rare and mythic ones if you already got 4 of them; the game's got your back.

Duplicates? Yes, but actually no for the good stuff. Once you hit the magic number of 4 on a rare or mythic, MTG Arena saves you from the despair of getting them again from the same set. But let's be real, my common and uncommon pile is basically a mountain of 'been there, drawn that.'

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
