Yep, you actually can have multiple commanders in MTG, but only in a specific format called Commander (also known as EDH, short for Elder Dragon Highlander). This format typically allows for one commander, but there's a variant rule that lets you use two if both have the Partner ability. So, you can team up two commanders on the battlefield, as long as they both say 'Partner' on the card.

Nope, you're stickin' with one unless they're both cool with sharing the spotlight (aka, have the Partner feature). Simpler that way.

Short answer: Yes, but with a catch. You can only do it in the Commander format and both your commanders must have the 'Partner' mechanic. No partners, no double commander fun.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
