Absolutely, you can play a bounce land on your first turn in Magic The Gathering! However, remember that bounce lands come into play tapped and make you return another land you control to your hand. Since you won't have any other lands to bounce back that early in the game, it effectively ends your turn without letting you tap it for mana immediately. So, strategize accordingly!

Been there, done that! Played a bounce land on turn one during a game night. The table was shocked until they realized I couldn't do anything else after. It was a bold move but kind of a blunder without a follow-up plan. So yeah, you can, but think twice!

Quick take: Yes, but why would you? It taps and bounces back, leaving you with no mana available. Not the best first move unless it's part of some galaxy brain play.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
