Can you play land during the end step in MTG?
Nope, you can't play a land during the end step. Lands are normally played during one of your main phases (either before or after your combat phase) and only on your turn. So, trying to sneak one in during the end step goes against the rules - keep those land plays for the main phase!

Short answer: No. Long answer: Still no. Lands are a main phase kinda deal only.
Actually, no. MTG rules are pretty clear on when you can play lands, and the end step isn't in that window. You gotta wait for your main phase to roll around again. Tried to sneak a land in during an end step at a local tourney once; did not go well.
