Short answer: yes, you can! Anything that uses the stack in MTG is fair game for responses. So when your opponent goes to equip that fancy sword to their creature, feel free to jump in with your own spells or abilities.

Absolutely, you can respond to someone equipping in MTG! Equipping is an ability that uses the stack, just like casting spells. This means that when someone tries to equip a creature with an artifact, you can respond to this action while it's still on the stack before the equipment is actually attached to the creature. You can cast spells or activate abilities in response, maybe even disrupting their plan by removing the target creature or the equipment itself!

Nope, it's not a big deal to respond to equipping. Just think of it as your chance to throw a wrench into your opponent's plans. Make sure you've got some instant spells or quick abilities ready to go!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
