Yes and no. You don't control cards in the graveyard in the same way as you control cards on the battlefield. But, saying you have zero control isn't accurate either. Some cards and abilities let you manipulate your graveyard by bringing cards back into play or doing other funky stuff. So, while they're not 'controlled' in the traditional sense, you're not completely powerless over them either!

Nope, you don't technically 'control' cards in your graveyard in Magic The Gathering. Once cards end up in your graveyard, they're considered out of play. You still 'own' them (meaning they're yours outside the game), but control is reserved for cards in play on the battlefield.

Control in MTG is about cards in play. Graveyard = out of play, so no control there. Simple.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
