Nah, you don't have to discard every turn in MTG. The only time you gotta discard is if you have more than seven cards in your hand at the end of your turn. Keep slinging those spells without worry!

Actually, no. Discarding is not a common turn activity unless a specific card's effect or rule forces you to. Most of the game, you'll be strategizing on what to play, not what to discard!
