Does a clone's converted mana cost change in MTG?
Actually, the CMC of a clone card remains the same as the card it copies. It's a common misunderstanding but remember, CMC is always determined by the mana cost printed on the top right corner, and a clone essentially 'becomes' the creature it copies, mana cost and all.

Nope, a clone's CMC (converted mana cost) in MTG does not change. The clone card will have the same CMC as the original card it's copying, even if it's copying a creature with a different CMC. So, if you clone a creature that costs three mana, your clone's CMC is three mana too, regardless of the clone spell's own cost.
