Dragon Egg? Dragon? Not in my book. It's an egg first, dragon later. Doesn't count until it hatches!

Yep, Dragon Egg definitely counts as a dragon in MTG. When it dies, it even hatches into a 2/2 red Dragon creature token with flying. Pretty cool way to get a dragon on the board!
