Hard nope on gold borders for official events. They're not legal. Always check with your playgroup for casual games, though!

Gold bordered cards in Magic The Gathering, specifically for Commander, are totally fine in casual play, as long as your play group is cool with it. These cards are technically not tournament legal, but Commander is all about fun and creativity with friends. So, if everyone's on board, feel free to use them and enjoy!

Totally depends on who you're playing with. Some people are purists and want everything by the book, even in casual Commander games. But in my experience? Most folks are pretty chill and just happy to play. Had a deck with a couple of gold-bordered cards and nobody ever complained. It's all about the fun of the game, right?

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
