Absolutely, sacrificing a creature in MTG is just a fancy way of saying it dies for a cause. Creatures that kick the bucket this way will trigger any 'dies' effects you have waiting in the wings.

Nope, sacrificing is just giving your creatures a heroic exit. They don't 'die' they 'sacrifice' for the greater good. It's all about the lingo!

From firsthand experience, sacrificing a creature in MTG definitely counts as it dying. I've won more than a few games thanks to death triggers activated by a well-timed sacrifice. It's a grim strategy but effective.

Oh yeah, in the world of MTG, sacrificing a creature definitely counts as it dying. It's all about sending that creature to the graveyard as a result of a spell, ability, or cost. So, when you're strategizing, remember that triggers looking for a death event will see sacrifices as the grim reaper's express lane!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
