Background enchantments are a special kind of enchantment introduced in the Streets of New Capenna set. Unlike regular enchantments, they represent your character's backstory and can only be used if you have a commander that matches the background's requirement. You can only have one background enchantment in your command zone, and it gives your commander an additional ability or buff, adding a unique layer of strategy to your deck.

Honestly, I think they're a bit restrictive. Cool concept but locking into one commander, and only one? Meh.

Just think of them as your commander's personal hype crew! Background enchantments essentially give your commander an extra edge, but remember, you can't just throw any background onto any commander. They've gotta match, like a fine wine and cheese.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
