How do ties work in MTG when both players reach 0 life?
Actually, ties are super rare in MTG. You gotta both knock each other out at the exact same moment. Like, you're both at 1 life and someone plays a card that says 'deal 1 damage to each player.' Boom, tie game. Start over or rock paper scissors to decide the winner?

In MTG, if both players hit 0 life at the same time, it's a rare instance but it does lead to a tie. This usually happens due to a card effect that deals damage to both players simultaneously. When this occurs, the game ends in a draw and, depending on the format you're playing, you might go to a tiebreaker or just start a new game.
Ties? In MTG? Pretty much doesn't happen unless you're both playing with fire and get burnt at the same time. So, it鈥檚 a draw. Roll a die to see who buys pizza.
