Short and sweet: Emblems are game perks you get from some planeswalkers. They make you stronger, and there's no undo button for your opponents. Enjoy your power boost!

Emblems in MTG are pretty unique! They're not cards that you can play from your hand, but rather effects you gain, usually from a planeswalker's ability. Once you get an emblem, it's with you for the rest of the game. They don't have a physical form on the battlefield, and you can't interact with them鈥攎eaning you can't destroy or remove emblems by any ordinary means. So if you snag one, it's your advantage until the game ends!

FYI, from someone who's been at the receiving end: Emblems can be brutal. They're like invisible shields or swords that stick with you. Once an opponent gets one, you know you're in for a tough time. My advice? Strike fast and win before those emblems start piling up.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
