In MTG, Answered Prayers is an enchantment that becomes a creature when you gain life. Specifically, it turns into a 3/3 Angel creature with flying until end of turn. However, it only transforms if you don't already control an Angel. The enchantment itself doesn't provide life gain; it reacts to other life-gain events triggered during your turn.

'Answered Prayers' basically hangs around waiting for you to gain some life. Once you do, poof, you get a temporary 3/3 flying Angel buddy until the turn ends. Just remember, it can't turn into an Angel if you've already got one out, so no Angel party.

It's overrated. Your deck needs to consistently gain life for it to be any good.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
