Best of 3 in MTG Arena simply means you gotta beat your opponent in 2 games out of 3 to win the match. Quick tip: Sideboarding is key! Change your deck between games to outsmart your opponent.

Honestly, if you're not into serious competitive play, stick to Best of 1. Bo3 takes too long and is all about who has the best sideboard.

In MTG Arena, Best of 3 (also known as Bo3) is a match format where you play up to three games against the same opponent. The winner is the first player to win two out of those three games. After the first game, both players have the opportunity to modify their decks using their sideboard, a set of up to 15 additional cards pre-selected before the match. This allows for strategic adjustments based on the opponent鈥檚 deck. If a third game is necessary, players can sideboard again before diving in. It's a great way to test out strategies and adapt to your opponent's tactics!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
