How does blocking with multiple creatures work in MTG?

Simply put, all the blockers get to deal their damage to the attacker, and the attacker deals damage back divided as the attacker chooses among them. It's a great way to gang up on a big threat, but watch out; it can backfire if the attacker has tricks up their sleeve!

Oh, diving into the tactical depths of MTG, are we? So, when you block with multiple creatures, each of the blocking creatures can be assigned to one attacker. The attacking player gets to order the blockers in the sequence they want to deal damage. It's like setting up a defense line in soccer; you gotta know who you want to take the hit first. This adds a whole layer of strategy, especially if your creatures have abilities or effects that kick in when they deal damage or get damaged. Remember, all the blockers can and often will get hit back, so it's not just a free lunch!

Honestly, it's kinda overrated. Just blast 'em directly and save the hassle.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
