How does Bolt Bend work in MTG?
In short, you use Bolt Bend to redirect trouble. Someone tries to zap your creature or hit you with something nasty, you play Bolt Bend, and suddenly it's not your problem anymore. Just remember, you can only redirect to a new valid target, so no sending damage spells to enchantments!

Bolt Bend is pretty cool - it's all about changing the target of a spell or ability that's singling you or your stuff out. It has this neat condition where its cost is reduced to a single red mana if you control a creature with power 4 or greater. So, you're looking at a card that can really turn the tables on your opponent for cheap, assuming you've got a beefy creature hanging around.
Used Bolt Bend in a game last week. My opponent tried to remove my biggest creature, and I redirected their spell to one of their own creatures. The look on their face was priceless! It's not just a spell; it's a psychological weapon.
I don't get the hype with Bolt Bend. Most times, you're better off just playing cards that don't let your opponent's spells resolve in the first place. Counterspells, people!
