How Does Changeling Work in MTG?
Changeling in Magic The Gathering is a super cool ability that essentially makes the card a universal adapter. A creature with Changeling is every creature type, all at once, everywhere - in play, in your hand, in your deck, and in the graveyard. This means if you're playing a deck that benefits from having lots of a certain creature type (like Elves or Zombies), a Changeling can slip right in and get all those benefits too!

Short and sweet: Changeling means the card is every creature type at all times. It's like the Swiss Army knife of creature types in MTG.
From personal experience, Changeling can totally save your bacon in tribal decks. I was running a Goblin deck and needed just one more to win. Drew a Changeling card, and BOOM, instant Goblin. It's like having a wildcard in your deck that can morph into any needed creature type at the perfect moment.
