Curse of Leeches is a daybound/nightbound card from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt. During the day, it's an Enchantment - Aura you attach to a player and at the beginning of their upkeep, they lose 1 life. When night falls (meaning if no spells were cast the previous turn), it transforms into Leeching Lurker, a creature with Lifelink that lets you gain life equal to the damage it deals. It's like having a sneaky vampire that flips between cursing and biting!

It's actually simple. Curse of Leeches leeches life from your opponents during their upkeep when it's day. When it turns night, it becomes a creature that can attack, defend, and also has lifelink.

I used Curse of Leeches in a game once, and it didn't do much. Just seems like a lot of hassle for a little life gain and damage.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
