How does Dark Salvation work in MTG?

Dark Salvation is like a zombie party invite with a twist! When you cast it, you get to choose X, which is how many zombies you're planning to bring to the party (also, how much mana you're willing to spend for them). You pay the mana cost, which includes at least two black mana, and the rest can be whatever. The X determines not just how many zombie tokens you get, but it also decides how weak you make an opponent's creature, by giving it -X/-X until end of turn. So, you're essentially summoning zombie friends while making one of your opponent's creatures weaker, or potentially sending it to the graveyard if its toughness drops to zero.

Actually, I think it's more of a control tool than a creature generator. Using it to get rid of big threats by choosing a high X value can change the game more than a few zombie tokens.

Simply put: spend mana, get zombies, weaken an opponent's creature. It's a great two-for-one deal!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
