In MTG Arena, a direct attack, also known as attacking a player directly, happens when you choose to attack your opponent instead of their creatures. During your attack phase, you can select which of your creatures will attack the opponent directly, assuming there are no specific conditions or abilities preventing you from doing so, like the opponent having a creature with 'reach' blocking a flying attacker. The opponent then decides if they want to block the attacking creatures with their own, and if they don't, or can't, the attack goes through, and the damage is dealt directly to their life total.

Direct attack? Just hit them where it hurts - right in the life points! No blockers? Bam, damage!

Actually, direct attacks are overrated. It's all about strategy and board control. Why go direct when you can outmaneuver?

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
